LOOKING BACK ON ASIA

Asia is a traveller’s dream with a country to suit everyone’s taste. If you are pasty, fat and have way too much money, look no further than Southern Thailand! If ancient wonders are what you are after, Cambodia is your destination. Looking for sleepy villages, beautiful scenery and nothing strenuous to wear you out then meander along to Loas. After visiting all these countries, Shaun and I have agreed that Sumatra was still our favourite. Nowhere else was the scenery as ruggedly beautiful, the sea as unspoilt, the bus music as unique or the people as friendly and accommodating despite all the hardships they have had to endure and are still going through! Would we go back there? . . . In a heartbeat! As long as the local airline stops crashing it’s planes!!
